The president of the United States, Donald Trump, assured this Monday at a press conference that all of Iran “can be annihilated in one night” and that could happen “tomorrow night”in reference to the ultimatum he has given to Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday.
“The entire country (Iran) can be devastated in a single night, and that night could be tomorrow“said the Republican in an appearance before the media in the press room of the White House to explain the operation to rescue, in Iranian territory, the two crew members of a US F-15 fighter shot down on Friday by Tehran.

The Republican announced this weekend that he was extending the ultimatum until Tuesday that it has given to reopen the Strait of Hormuz (through which an important part of the hydrocarbons exported globally passes), a step that Iran maintains partially closed after the start of the US and Israeli attacks on February 28.
Trump has said on social media that Iran has until tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. Washington time (0:00 GMT) to reopen the sea passage, otherwise the US will bomb Iranian power plants and other critical infrastructure.
At the press conference held today at the White House, The president praised the operation to rescue the occupants of the downed fighterespecially with regard to the co-pilot, who was hidden in a mountainous area of Iran for hours before being found by American troops.
Trump said the operation to rescue the co-pilot involved 155 aircraft, including four bombers, 64 fighters, 48 refueling tankers and 13 rescue aircraft. EFE
