Running for Los Angeles Superior Court Judge in Office 65 (currently vacant) in the June 2 election are Justin Clayton, Chellei Jimenez, Anna Slotky Reitano and Samuel Wolloch Krause.

La Opinion considers that Samuel Wolloch Krause’s qualification qualifies him for the position and recommends its readers in Los Angeles County to vote for him in the upcoming elections on June 2.

Krause has already served as a volunteer substitute judge (Think Professional Tempore) and acquired experience that adds to what he has in different areas of the upright profession, totaling almost three decades.

He earned his BA from California State University Northridge, his Master of Laws with a concentration in Taxation from New York University, and his JD degree from Hofstra University.

He is a partner member at Hall Advantages Laws, a firm specializing in Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) regulations, executive compensation and employee benefits.

He has been legal director of California Faculties VEBA, an organization that benefits more than 150,000 public employees.

It favors the expansion of linguistic access, to help those who do not master English at the required level, an important issue for the Latino community.

He wants to reduce delays, as well as the backlog of unrecorded court records caused by budget cuts that led to a chronic shortage of court reporters. Judicial delays cause a perception of a slow, impassable, confusing and inaccessible system.

For the public who go to court, he wants to improve accessibility, efficiency, and ensure that everyone “is treated fairly, respectfully, and without bias.”

For all these reasons, on June 2 vote for Samuel Wolloch Krause.
