The steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art were dressed up this Monday to celebrate the Met Gala 2026an event that this year embraced the slogan “Vogue Is Artwork“.
In an edition marked by the exploration of the body as a canvas and fashion as sculpture, the Latin presence, although more select than in previous years, managed to monopolize all the flashes, with Rauw Alejandro and Maluma to the head.
The Puerto Rican performer reaffirmed his status as a global fashion icon. Following the aesthetic line that had already appeared at the Grammys, Rauw Alejandro opted for a Yves Saint Laurent design who challenged masculine conventions.

According to Voguehis watch stood out for playing with proportions and textures, perfectly integrating the concept of “sculptural fashion” required by this year’s costume code. His proposal was an ode to the avant-garde, consolidating him as the most daring Latin attendee of the night.
For its part, Maluma once again demonstrated why he is a recurring guest of Anna Wintour. The Colombian balanced classic sophistication with contemporary artistic touches, presenting himself with a Tom Ford suit and Bvlgari jewelry that highlighted craftsmanship and meticulous detail.

His presence injected the necessary charisma to a red carpet that maintained the haute couture standard that created the event.
Also notable on the red carpet was the presence of Imperfect Bunny. The Puerto Rican singer opted for a totally black watch, but what caught the most attention was his transformation: he used makeup and a wig to simulate an aged appearance.

In a gala co-chaired by figures such as Beyoncé and Nicole KidmanLatinos not only attended, but gave a lecture on how to interpret art through costumes.
