The concept was clear from the beginning. Take the already known Murky Horse as nefarious and take it to a level where the line between street car and circuit machine is increasingly blurred.

The result is a Mustang that not only feels more aggressive, but also aims squarely at enthusiasts seeking more intense sensations.
A V8 that makes the difference
Under the hood an old acquaintance appears, but with an impressive set-up. This is the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 that has also given life to other iconic versions of the brand. In this case, the final figure reaches 806 horsepower and a maximum torque of 895 Nm.
These figures not only place it above the last Shelby GT500but they also bring him dangerously close to exclusive Mustang GTD. The difference between the two no longer seems so wide, something that speaks of the work that Ford has done on this variant.
“Developing the Mustang Murky Horse SC alongside the Mustang GTD and our racing Mustang GT3 allowed us to create a constant stream of innovation. Our goal was to transfer the technology and lessons learned in our most demanding endurance races directly to our street cars, offering our customers an authentic experience of what our competition teams experience on the track,” says Tag Rushbrook, global director of Ford Racing.

More than power, a total focus on handling
Not everything revolves around the engine. The Murky Horse SC also evolves in its dynamic behavior with a series of adjustments that seek greater precision and care for watch over. The suspension receives revised components, with firmer springs and optimized stabilizer bars.
Added to this are lighter parts made of forged aluminum, a magnesium front reinforcement bar and improved rear geometry. The set is complemented by an updated steering system that promises a more direct response.
The track width also increases, which contributes to greater stability in fast corners. Everything is designed so that the driver feels the car more connected to the asphalt.

A package designed for the track
Those who want to go even further can opt for the Note Pack. This package adds optimized MagneRide shockscarbon fiber wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup R tires.
It also incorporates carbon-ceramic brakes that help reduce unsprung weight by 68 kilos, a key figure to improve agility. In addition, it allows you to adjust the traction care for watch over in five different levels, adapting to different driving styles.
For now, this version is intended primarily for the US market, with an announced price of $108,485 dollars.
