Porsche’s move with the new electric Cayenne Coupé is not a simple catalog update. Thus, the brand makes it clear where it wants to take its largest SUVs, mixing extreme performance with an aesthetic that moves further and further away from the conventional.

This model appears with a more aggressive identity and with a very strong focus on dynamism.

You can explore: Something is happening: electric cars are losing steam in the US.

Although part of the wrong cayennevisible language changes enough that many perceive it almost as a new vehicle within the family.

An SUV that approaches the world of the 911

The design takes direct references from the spirit of the Porsche 911something that is noticeable in the drop of the roof, the tension of the lines and the way in which the bodywork seeks to reduce any unnecessary element.

The silhouette is lower than that of the traditional Cayenne, with a 24mm reduction in roof height helping to give it a sportier stance. That change, although it seems small, completely changes the perception of the vehicle when it is moving or stopped.

Quite advanced aerodynamic work is also integrated. The coefficient of 0.23 reflects this effort to optimize air flow, supported by active elements such as the rear spoiler and variable cooling systems.

Power that does not save anything

The range of the electric Cayenne Coupé is strongly committed to the architecture of 800 voltswhich allows a very efficient power delivery in all its versions.

The wrong model offers 435 horsepowerwhile the electric S Coupé goes up to 657. At the most radical end appears the Turbo, which reaches 1,139 horsepower and greatly exceeds what is usual in this segment.

Driving is also supported by advanced systems such as intelligent all-wheel drive, rear-axle steering and the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus system. All of this helps the SUV maintain stability even when pushed to the limit.

Fast charging and everyday use

Beyond performance, the electrical system is one of the most worked on points. The 113 kWh battery allows for truly competitive fast charging, reaching 10% to 80% in less than 16 minutes under optimal conditions.

The practical approach is not left aside. The interior offers flexible rear seat configurations and additional storage solutions in both the rear and front of the vehicle.

For those looking for something more extreme, The Light Sport package adds carbon fiber components, 22-inch wheels and a weight reduction that further improves dynamic response.

The interior accompanies this philosophy with specific materials and a feeling closer to a sports car than to a family SUV.

The new electric Cayenne Coupé is now available in the United States with prices that start at $113,800 dollars, rise to $131,200 dollars in the S version and reach $168,000 dollars in the Turbo.
