Seth Moulton, representative of Massachusetts, pointed out Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense, as responsible for allowing “war crimes” during the attacks orchestrated for months by the US Navy against vessels allegedly manned by drug traffickers in the Caribbean..
The aforementioned military actions began at the beginning of September and have lasted more than half a year, causing the death of at least 186 people.
Although the head of the Department of Defense (DoD) affirms that his offensive is justified by preventing the transfer of drugs to US territory and thus reducing the possibility of more people falling prey to addictions, he has not yet presented the necessary elements to prove that the people who were on board the attacked vessels were linked to illegal drug trafficking.
During an interview given to the program “Erin Burnett OutFront”, which is broadcast by the news network CNN, Seth Moulton pointed out that Pete Hegseth has committed serious violations of the law.
“It is clear that he is behind the operation to attack all these ships in the Caribbean, when it is not at all clear that we have confirmation that these alleged narcoterrorists – a term the administration invented to justify this action – are even on board. In fact, There is a lot of evidence that these are simply fishermen looking for work, running these boats and trying to feed their families. “The press has reported on some of these people who have died and who are clearly not war criminals,” he said.

The 47-year-old physicist in charge of representing the 6th district of Massachusetts mentioned the existence of some reports indicating how Hegseth wanted to make sure that no one survived and therefore ordered any survivors of the attacks to be finished off, which would imply a greater penalty.
“AND On top of that, we had an attack where a double shot occurred, simply to kill the survivors who clung to the remains. You know, it’s interesting, Erin, another historical analogy: in World War II, the Allies tried Nazi submarine captains for doing exactly the same thing. And guess what the conclusion was? They were executed. “Listen to that, Mr. Secretary,” he emphasized.
