The “Let Down” singer spoke from her social networks and forcefully revealed that her silence regarding the release of the film in honor of her father was due to the fact that “addresses a very specific section of my father’s fandom that continues to live in fantasy.”

In this sense, The 28-year-old famous woman confessed that, in her opinion, “Michael” presents an overly controlled vision of the type of person and artist her father was.. Likewise, he indicated that although he gave his feedback on the first versions of the film, in the end it was ignored.

After the negative response from the production, Paris Jackson would have decided to cut off any type of contact: “There is a lot of inaccuracy, and there are a lot of blatant lies. And at the end of the day, that doesn’t convince me. I don’t like dishonesty,” the model also reiterated.

In an attempt not to continue fueling the controversy, the young woman expressed: “That doesn’t suit me. I don’t like dishonesty. I spoke, but I wasn’t listened to (…) I thought: ‘that’s it, you guys are going to like the movie. Go see it, enjoy it, do what you want, but leave me out'”.

In contrast to the discontent that the singer’s daughter has shown against the film, the public has received it with open arms, managing to leave behind other biopics such as “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Straight Outta Compton” with its box office success.
