Juan Luis Londoño Arias, known worldwide as Malumaleft his followers in suspense after announcing the launch of his next studio album titled “Loco x Volver”which will launch next May 15.
According to the artist’s first revelations, This project is not just another collection of songsbut the most private and authentic work of his entire career.
The announcement was made known through an emotional video on their social networks, where The “Hawái” singer reflects on his artistic evolution.
After years dominating the popularity charts with his role as “Papi Juancho” and the recent success of “Don Juan”, Maluma seems to be looking for a reconnection with his essence and with the public that saw him born in Medellín.
A return to the roots
“Loco x Volver” arrives at a moment of artistic maturity for the Colombian. Sources close to the production indicated Billboard that the album fuses the urban rhythms that established it with lyrics full of vulnerability. Maluma himself described this album as a “love letter to his past” and a testimony of his personal growth.
The project has already generated great expectations in the industry. Among the confirmed songs, “Pa’ la seca” stands out, along with Ryan Castroreleased on April 16, and high-caliber collaborations such as “Botero”, together with Arcángel and NTG, which brings the strength of the entice and street sound to the album.
With more than a decade of career and multiple Latin Grammy awards under his belt, Maluma seeks with this release to demonstrate that, behind the world superstar, there continues to be the young dreamer who is “crazy to return” to what really matters: music made from the soul.
