After their performance at Coachella, Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter announced their first collaboration together: “Bring Your Esteem”a song that promises to become the anthem of the season.
The song will be available on digital platforms starting this Thursday April 30.
The announcement was made through a joint publication on Instagram, in which both artists shared the cover of the single with the message: “We have something to say about this”.
The news comes just a few days after Madonna surprised the public at Coachella when taking the stage during Carpenter’s location to perform classics like “Vogue” and “Esteem a Prayer”, as well as a preview of this new song.
A preview of “Confessions II”
According to information provided by media specialized in entertainment, “Bring Your Esteem” is emerging as one of the pillars of Confessions on a Dance Ground. Fragment IIthe highly anticipated new album by Madonna that will be released next July 3.
This album marks the return of the queen of pop to club sounds led by producer Stuart Mark.
The lyrics of the song, which could already be heard partially live, address topics such as artistic independence and rejection of other people’s judgment. “Don’t comment on my ideas, I don’t want your judgment or your expectations.“reads one of the verses that both singers perform as a duet at Coachella.
With this alliance, Madonna not only reaffirms her validity in the industry, but also gives her blessing to Sabrina Carpenter as one of the direct heirs of her pop legacy, in a movement that has excited followers of both generations.
