A 43-year-old Venezuelan woman, identified as Lindha Paola Zerpa Lara, was found dead in her home in Herriman, south of Salt Lake Metropolis, in Utah with signs of violence. Authorities are investigating the case as a possible murder-suicide that occurred one day after the victim filed for divorce.

The discovery occurred on Friday night, when agents went to the property after receiving alerts from relatives concerned about the lack of communication, according to NBC affiliate KSL.

Inside the house The body of a man was also foundwhose identity has not been revealed, with a wound that authorities consider self-inflicted.
