New York’s Lincoln Center lit up as dozens of stars walked by at the world premiere of “The Devil Wears Prada 2”. In addition to the furor that was generated with the arrival of the popular cast, led by Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, The evening of April 20 gave several surprises to the public, one of them being the special participation of Lady Gaga.
Through social networks, the attention of children and adults was focused on the David Geffen Hall of the Lincoln Center cultural complex thanks to the parade of personalities such as Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci and Kenneth Branagh.
However, the excitement multiplied when it was confirmed that Grammy-winning singer Laday Gaga is not only part of the film’s soundtrack, but also has a fun cameo on screen.
Dressed in an elegant piece from the Saint Lauren fashion house, the singer and actress appeared in front of the audience after being announced by the film’s director, David Frankel. “And finally, the worst kept secret in showbiz: our surprise guest star, Lady Gaga.”the filmmaker is heard saying to the applause of the audience.
Although the production decided not to release more details about the magnitude of its participation, it emphasized that Lady Gaga’s role in this project was not limited to the musical field.
Let us remember that The 40-year-old artist released the song “Runway” in collaboration with rapper Doechii. This musical piece was consolidated as the main theme of the soundtrack for the film “The Devil Wears Prada 2” and is scheduled for release on May 1.
Another of the personalities whose presence caused a sensation among Internet users was Anna Wintour, former editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine. For the occasion, The businesswoman wore a striped dress that records data from Prada’s Spring-Summer 2016 collection, a piece belonging to her own collection..
In addition to Wintour and the previously mentioned stars, the list of attendees at the event included: Coco Rocha, Ashley Graham, Barbara Palvin, her husband Dylan Sprouse, Heidi Klum, Madelaine Petsch, Sofia Carson and Winnie Harlowto mention a few.
