The night of WrestleMania 42 In Las Vegas he left confrontations marked by intensity and the constant use of objects, in combats where physical resistance and personal context were decisive. One of the most notable duels featured Dominik Mysterio and Finn Bálorwho transferred their internal conflict within The Judgment Day to a setting without rules.
From the first seconds, the fight showed an aggressive pace. Bálor, in his version of “The Demon”, took the initiative and took the fight outside the ring, where he used a kendo stick and hit his rival against the commentary table. Mysterio tried to gain space, but ended up being cornered in the early stages of the confrontation.
The reaction came with a suicide dive that allowed him to regain ground. Once inside the ring, Dominik introduced metal chairs and began using them to balance the fight. In that stretch, he hit a 619 followed by a frog splash, although he failed to close the fight with a count of three.
The exchange of punishment intensified as the minutes passed. Both resorted to tables and more chairs, raising the level of violence in a contest where each impact made a difference. Bálor responded with moves like the slingblade and dropkicks, standing firm despite the rival offensive.
Penta Zero Miedo resists in an action-packed ladder fight
In parallel, another of the central moments of the event was experienced in the ladder fight for the Intercontinental Championship. Seven competitors participated in a fight that maintained tension until the end, with constant exchanges and high-risk maneuvers in front of more than 50,000 attendees at Allegiant Stadium.
Penta Zero Miedo managed to win against Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Je’Von Evans and Rusevin a contest where everyone had outstanding moments. The outcome came when he applied a Mexican Destroyer on Evans, which allowed him to climb and take down the title to retain it.
The result also meant a revenge for Penta, who in the same scenario had lost the opportunity to win his first championship the previous year. On that occasion, he fell in his debut at WrestleMania against Bron Breakker, Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio.
Another striking detail of the combat was the clothing of Rey Mysteriowho was once again inspired by superhero characters and wore an outfit based on Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds.
The closing of the day combined forceful outcomes. In the fight without rules, Bálor executed his final finish after placing a chair on Dominik’s neck and landing kicks before taking him to a table and applying the final Coup de Grace to ensure the victory.
