Because when her passport was renewed, her gender was again indicated as male, Caitlyn Jenner requested the help of President Donald Trump to correct the administrative error.

Despite having updated all her legal documents years ago to reaffirm her transition, on the 76-year-old former Olympic athlete’s identity document, her sex indicates “M.”

During her participation in Tomi Lahren’s podcast, the New Yorker admitted how complicated it is to present herself with a gender and when trying to corroborate it with a document, the problem of having another written down arises.

“Nowadays, documentation is extremely important. Every time you turn around, you have to show your ID. As a person in my situation, who has transitioned, I worked very, very hard. “I worked with a law firm to make sure everything was changed from ‘M’ to ‘F’, right down to my birth certificate,” he said.

Nevertheless, His problem arose when his passport expired and he had to renew it.

“I did everything and they gave it back to me, ‘M’; they didn’t change it,” he mentioned.

Although he immediately tried to solve the problem by sending official documentation to the State Department, the response was not positive.

After confirming that the options to achieve gender modification in your passport have practically been exhausted, Caitlyn Jenner is trying to reach out to Donald Trump waiting for his intervention to fix the administrative error.

“I was at Mar-a-Lago two months ago and I wrote him a letter explaining all this, how it is affecting me and many other people.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t there that weekend. A Secret Service agent said I could get it to him, leave it on his desk and so on.

I haven’t heard anything from him. I don’t blame him at all. I like him very much and I love what he is doing,” he stressed.

It should be noted that, on his first day back at the White House, Donald Trump signed an executive order declaring that the United States would recognize only two sexes: male and female.

From that moment on, the State Department proceeded to suspend the processing of passport applications for Americans who wished to change their gender marker.

It is estimated that this measure ended up affecting more than 475 thousand transgender adults who lacked identification documents that accurately reflect their gender.
