Federal and state forces participated

Elements of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), the Traditional Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic (FGR), the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), the Secretary of the Navy (Semar), the National guard (GN), the National Migration Institute (INM) and the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Quintana Roo.

The authorities highlighted that the capture was possible thanks to the coordination between these institutions and the collaboration with Hungarian security agencies.

Made available to the INM for deportation

Following his arrest, János was informed of his rights under the law. Subsequently, he was placed at the disposal of the National Migration Institute, which will be the body in charge of determining his immigration status.

The INM will follow up on the corresponding procedure to carry out the controlled deportation of the detainee to Europe, where he will have to face the charges against him.
