According to Anna Paulina Luna, representative of Florida, Rubén Gallego, senator of Arizona, will allegedly be accused by a woman about an incident of a “sexual nature.”

During an interview given to the program “The Takeout with Essential Garrett”, which is broadcast by the television network CBS Filesthe Republican congresswoman accused Gallego of “misbehavior.”

Although he did not go into specific details, Luna referred to alleged violations of campaign finance laws committed by the Democrat, but also warned about the testimony of a woman that could change the perception of the senator.

There is a woman who is supposed to appear with lawyers and wants to record an incident that occurred between the two at the same time, and the event was of a sexual nature, presumably,” he indicated in reference to Rubén Gallego and fellow Democrat Eric Swalwell, a former member of the House of Representatives who was forced to first renounce his aspirations to run for governor of California and then also for Congress.

Swalwel’s case sparked a scandal, as four women accused him of sexual misconduct and two of them for allegedly raping them.

In this regard, Rubén Gallego, who was listed as one of his closest friends, immediately distanced himself and even indicated that he felt disappointed.

“Eric Swalwell lied to all of us… My friendship with him, our family’s friendship with him, clouded my judgment and I was wrong. I am deeply sorry.

This man led a double life. “He lied to us, he lied to his family, he lied to his constituents, some of the most powerful people in this country,” the senator said during a meeting with the press in Congress.

Nevertheless, Anna Paulina Luna hinted that Rubén Gallego would also have pending issues linked to Swalwell to clarify.

“I think any time you knowingly participate in buying someone for sex, that’s something that should be taken seriously,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Gallego’s spokesperson issued a statement addressed to the television station CBS Filestrying to undermine the statements of the representative for Florida.

“These are right-wing conspiracy theories that a marginal member of the extreme right of Congress repeats like a parrot. Senator Gallego has not received any notification nor has he been contacted by the ethics committee,” he mentioned.
