A violent attack that occurred in the city of Chicago left the death of Alexander Kazanowski, a young 25-year-old father who was brutally beaten outside a bar.
The incident occurred around 3:20 in the morning on March 24, in the Avondale neighborhood, in front of the Tune Up establishment, according to WGNTV.
What is known about the attack
According to authorities, Kazanowski was found unconscious outside the premises and taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Witnesses indicated that the young man had been seen moments before arguing with a group of people outside the bar.
In addition, employees of the establishment indicated that hours before he had been asked to leave the place due to comments he had made.
Police are searching for four people allegedly involved in the beatingidentified as three African American men and one Asian woman.
The authorities released images captured by security cameras, in which the suspects are seen entering the bar and apparently laughing.
So far, it is unclear whether those images were taken before or after the attack.
Reward and research
The Cook dinner County Crime Stoppers organization offers a reward of $10,000 for information that allows the identification and capture of those responsible.
Its executive director, Paul Rutherford, called the crime a “brutal and senseless act of violence” and urged the community to collaborate.
Kazanowski was a professional model and also dabbled in acting. His relatives described him as a dedicated father and a charismatic person.
He leaves behind a young daughter and a son on the way, whose birth was scheduled for a few weeks after his death.
“He lived with boldness, ambition and individuality,” said his loved ones, who mourned the loss of a man who, they say, inspired those around him.
The authorities reiterated the call for anyone with information to communicate anonymously, while efforts continue to find the whereabouts of the suspects.
