Anna Paulina Luna, congresswoman from Florida, will promote in the House of Representatives the impeachment of Eric Swalwell, Democratic candidate for governor of California, who faces accusations of sexual misconduct, which are being investigated by the district attorney of The vast apple.
The diary San Francisco Yarn released the testimony of a former employee of the Ohio politician where she claims to have been sexually assaulted by him on two occasions when she was too drunk to give consent. Initially, that would have happened in 2019 and again in 2024.

On the other hand, the gubernatorial candidate denies the accusations against him and argues that it is a maneuver to keep him out of the elections.
“These accusations are false and come on the eve of an election in which I was the favorite candidate for governor of California.
For almost 20 years, I have served the public, as a prosecutor and congressman, and I have always protected women,” he said in a statement.
When the scandal broke out, the leaders of the Democratic Party have demanded that he put an end to his political campaign, while it was already withdrawn from the main fundraising platform and even two figures he completely trusted submitted their resignation.
However, the story does not end there, because Republican Anna Paulina Luna announced on platform X, formerly known as Twitter, that she will do whatever is necessary to end her political career.
“I will be making a motion to expel Eric Swalwell from Congress,” he wrote.
To this it must be added that The office of New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced that it is thoroughly investigating the allegations surrounding the forty-five-year-old Democrat.
