A large-scale security operation disrupted the aerial activity in the north of Argentina after a warningand forced a flight to stop before takeoff. The situation occurred at the Gobernador Horacio Guzmán International Airport, in Jujuywhen a footballer claimed there was a bomb on boardwhich immediately activated the corresponding protocols.
The incident led to the arrest of Emiliano Endrizzimember of the team Jujuy Gymnastics and Fencingwho was with his teammates about to travel to Buenos Aires to play a second division match, as reported Infobae.
The authorities’ intervention included a complete inspection of the aircraft and luggage.

Upon inspection, no explosive device was detected.. Even so, the procedure forced the operation at the air terminal to be momentarily paralyzed, generating delays and affecting the planning of the team and other passengers.
Security operation and consequences in air operations
The Flybondi airline reported that flight FO5181, scheduled to take off at 1:25 p.m. to Buenos Aires, was the directly affected by the threat. “The company reports that flight FO5181, which was supposed to take off at 1:25 p.m. from the Gobernador Horacio Guzmán International Airport in Jujuy, bound for Buenos Aires, received a bomb threat from a passenger,” it said in a statement.
The text adds that “in this situation, the security protocols were immediately activated, led by the Airport Security Police (PSA).” The company also explained that it works together with regional authorities because This is the second episode of this type in less than forty eight hours, which directly impacted the air operation.
According to the company, the consequences included delays and cancellations that affected more than 1,200 passengers. In addition, he noted that he is considering initiating legal action against those responsible: “As a consequence of this passenger’s irresponsibility, the day’s operation will be affected.”
The episode also had an impact on the sports logistics of Jujuy Gymnastics and Fencing, who had to travel to face Agropecuario on the ninth day of the national championship, which was prevented by the arrest of Endrizzi, a 32-year-old defender with more than 100 games for the club.
