Tucker Carlson, a television presenter who is considered one of the pillars on which Donald Trump based the promotion of his campaign to defeat Kamala Harris in the last elections, reproaches the Republican for his inability to negotiate an agreement with Iran.
In August 2023, at the same time that the first debate of the Republican primaries towards the presidential elections was taking place, the 56-year-old Californian interviewed the New York tycoon after he avoided exchanging points of view with the rest of the conservative candidates under the argument of not considering it necessary due to the advantage granted by the polls.
From that strategy, the eyes of the world once again focused on Trump, while Carlson’s work gained greater notoriety.
In fact, Both characters became so close that the TV presenter was mentioned as one of Melania Trump’s options to recommend him to be part of her husband’s cabinet. as soon as he guaranteed his return to the White House. However, as the weeks went by, this option was diluted until it remained only anecdotal.
Then there was a breaking point in their relationship after the US president’s order to bomb Iran, something Carlson has never agreed on.

Recently, the Californian presenter criticized the New York tycoon for his inability to find a decent solution to the war conflict that he himself created by declaring war on Iran, a country that – without being at the same weapons level – has exhibited it before the international community by exercising full administration of the Strait of Hormuz, aggravating the energy crisis that overwhelms the entire world.
“Right now, Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz. It didn’t control it when this war started. It does now.
What do we learn from this? “Well, we learned that President Trump is not a great diplomat,” he said. in his recent episode of the podcast “The Tucker Carlson Demonstrate.”
Immediately afterwards, the former chain employee Fox Filesstated that the lack of fear that the Tehran government seems to show towards the repressive measures ordered by Trump shows the United States as a country far from the power exercised against the rest of the world years ago.
“What we are really learning is not simply that Trump is an irregular commander in chief, much less a diplomat, and obviously not a negotiator. If you announce a deal 38 times and it doesn’t materialize, you’re not a negotiator..
“What we are beginning to understand, unfortunately for the rest of us, are not just the limits of Trump, but the limits of American power,” he emphasized.
