- Scotiabank: purchase at $16.80 pesos and sale at $18.00 pesos.
Among the institutions analyzed, BBVA Mexico presents one of the lowest sales quotes of the day. For its part, Scotiabank surpassed Banamex during the previous day and offers the highest purchase price for those looking to sell dollars.
In the banking institutions of Mexico and the northern border, the dollar is sold on average for $17.47 pesos and is purchased for $16.34 pesos per unit. Meanwhile, in the exchange houses on the Tamaulipas border, the US currency is sold for approximately $17.50 pesos and purchased for $16.50 pesos.
On the other hand, international transfer companies also show differences in their quotes. Western Union quotes the dollar at $17.04 Mexican pesos, while MoneyGram sets the exchange rate at $17.82 pesos per unit.
