2026 World Cup Fever: How much will a Latin fan spend in Los Angeles?

From next June 11 to July 19, one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year will be taking place, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, one of the greatest events in history that will bring together all football fans in the same spirit.

This great celebration will take place for 39 days in three host countries: United States, Mexico and Canada, where you can enjoy the participation of Forty eight teams divided into 12 groups of 4 teams each and the development of 104 matches.

In the case of the United States, as one of the host countries, 11 stadiums in total will be used and among these is SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where 8 games will be held in total.

And just days before the soccer festival starts, here we tell you how much a Latin fan visiting Los Angeles for the 2026 World Cup could spend approximately, either to watch the games or enjoy the Fan Fest experience.

On average, The expense is between $1,500 to $10,000, But everything will depend on several factors: the country you come from, accommodation costs, days of stay, among others.

Flights and accommodation

Flights from main cities in Latin America are between $500 to $1,300; accommodation in Los Angeles for 7 nights, between $525 to $1,050 in a shared hostel/Airbnb; a basic Airbnb, $420 to $700; and $1,050 to $1,750, a 3-star hotel.

Food and transportation

As for food and transportation for seven days, expenses range between $140 in snappy food and between $350 to $560 in restaurants. The trip on the Metro would be between $5 and $35 and on Uber (2–3 trips/day) about $210 to $350.

Stadium tickets

Now, tickets to SoFi Stadium also vary in price; depending on the categories, in the high stands (the most economical category) are between $140 and $180; Category 2 costs approximately $465, it has the best views.

For its part, the official FIFA Fan Pageant (June 11–14, Coliseum): the usual admission, $10; children under 12 years old are free; and top class entry for exclusive area, $30.
