A 10-year-old boy and his father died in an accident that occurred Friday afternoon and which involved a Cal Fire fire truck in the town of Hemet, Riverside County.
In addition to the boy and his father, several other people They had to be evaluated in hospitals for possible injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident occurred shortly after noon on Friday, June 5. at the intersection of Domenigoni Parkway and Assert Avenue in Hemet.

According to reports, a Cal Fire fire truck was traveling northbound on Assert Avenue with its emergency lights and siren activated heading to State Route 74 to join the fight against the Cranston Fire.
The 43-year-old San Jacinto man, father of the 10-year-old boy, was driving westbound on Gibbel Motorway in a Mini Cooper.
The two vehicles collided at the intersection. causing the instant death of the San Jacinto man and the 10-year-old boywho was traveling in the passenger seat.

Another child and three firefighters injured
