The idea of President Donald Trump’s daughter is to exploit the pure beauty of the uninhabited island of Sazan, where a former corrupt communist military was located.
Nevertheless, This area represents the home of a wide variety of endangered species. such as monk seals, sea turtles, flamingos and pelicans.
Recently, Ivanka Trump revealed how impressed she was when visiting a place with pure beauty rarely seen.
“We were on a friend’s boat and we stopped to swim; that’s how we found it. We swam to the islands, hiked barefoot to the top and were completely captivated,” the Republican said during her appearance on David Senra’s podcast.
This fascination with that corner of Albania sparked Trump’s eldest daughter’s interest in building a tourist complex regardless of the financial cost of the project or the environmental impact generated.
Under that approach, It is expected that construction of a pharaonic work will soon begin along five miles of the Albanian coast. under the pretext of denoting the economy of a nation whose Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is one of the lowest in all of Europe.
Thanks to a change in environmental laws carried out a couple of years ago in Albania, It is currently possible to build in a previously protected natural area, which does not comply with European Union legislation.
That opened the door to the Sazan Staunch Property Construction LLC group, where Ivanka Trump and her husband are part of the company, as revealed by an investigation carried out by the television network. cnn.
Faced with a wave of protests in several Albanian cities demanding to stop the project in which the Trump family is involved, The Albanian Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK) announced that it had opened an investigation.
However, Prime Minister Edi Rama denies that the project is already underway, although some environmentalists have presented evidence of this through social networks.
“There is no such thing as the family of the American president appropriating protected areas where there will be flamingos, where they will be killed by them. There is no project yet, work is being done on the environmental impact,” he pointed out.
