The offensive of Chrysler For the next few years it is beginning to take shape and one of its most important pieces has already been seen. It is about the Airflow 2027a compact SUV that briefly appeared in a corporate video for Stellantis and that anticipates the future of the brand in one of the most disputed segments of USA.

The images reveal a vehicle practically ready for production, without camouflage elements and with a design that hints at the new aesthetic direction of Chrysler.

Everything indicates that the company seeks to attract those who want a modern, technological SUV with a competitive price.
A historic name that comes back to life
The Airflow name has special weight in Chrysler history. It was originally used in the 1930s for a car that stood out for its aerodynamic innovations, something unusual for the time.
Decades later, the brand recovered that name for an electric idea presented in 2022. However, the project was put on hold while Chrysler reorganized its product plans. Now, Airflow returns with a much broader focus and closer to the current needs of the market.
Three mechanical paths for different clients
One of the most interesting aspects of the new model is its flexibility. Chrysler works on Stellantis’ STLA One modular architecturea platform designed to support different propulsion systems.

Thanks to that contaminated, The Airflow could offer versions with a combustion engine, hybrid alternatives and fully electric variants.
The strategy would allow the brand to adapt to the preferences of each market without having to develop completely different models.
Competitive price and ongoing production
The first estimates point to an entry price close to $40,000 dollarsa figure that would place it in front of consolidated references such as the Toyota RAV4, the Honda CR-V and the Ford Trudge.

Production is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026 and its marketing would be carried out as a model 2027.
For Chrysler, the success of this SUV will be decisive, since it will mark its return to a category in which it has not participated for years and could become the vehicle in charge of revitalizing the brand beyond the well-known Chrysler Pacifica.
