La Opinión has published several editorials in recent weeks with its electoral recommendations for today, which are compiled below. Not all confrontations are included, for different reasons. We hope to help readers in their voting decision.

Governor: Xavier Becerra

In this capacity of constant attacks against the state, California needs Becerra’s experience; He is known and Latino voters can trust in his dedication and solidarity. Other options are distractions.

Los Angeles Mayor: Karen Bass

Considering the three main candidates, La Opinion concludes that Karen Bass is the best option and supports her victory in these elections for the position of mayor of the city of Los Angeles. There are really no sufficient reasons to prefer Raman.

Los Angeles County: Yes on Measure ER

Measure ER will fund free and low-cost care at nonprofit clinics for low-income and uninsured residents, keep county hospitals and clinics open, and fund disease prevention and health inspections.
