He World Cup 2026 arrives in Los Angeles between June 11 and July 19. For 39 days, the region will have ten official fan zones spread throughout the county, the FIFA Fan Competition opening night at the LA Memorial Coliseum, more than 100 free screenings in 18 municipal parks through the program Kick It in the Park of Mayor Karen Bass, the cultural headquarters House Mexico in LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes and eight games at SoFi Stadiumwith the debut of the United States as host against Paraguay.

In addition to the official options, there are bars and venues with programming that will be confirmed during the tournament. FIFA Fan Competition: the opening weekend at the Coliseum

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum · 3911 S Figueroa St · June 11-14

The Coliseum becomes the headquarters of the celebration during the opening weekend. Large screen in the middle of the field with live broadcast of the matches, music, cultural programming, interactive experiences and gastronomy that reflects the diversity of the city. There are four days of daily activity in one of the historic sites of Los Angeles.

Entrance: $10 General Admission, charges included. Club Seats and Loge Boxes at $30. Children under 12 free from payment with reserved ticket and accompanied by an adult with ticket (only in General Admission).
Tickets: exclusively by Ticketmaster. The venue operates cashless; only card or mobile payment.
How to get there: Metro E Line to Expo Park/USC or Expo/Vermont, both steps from the Coliseum.

The 10 official fan zones of the LA Host Committee

The organizing committee announced ten regional fan zones that are activated staggered during the five weeks of the tournament. Each one has its own programming with a big screen, food, music and family activities. Four are free: City of Downey, Union Residing, Magic Johnson Park and Whittier Narrows. The others require a ticket via Eventbrite, with prices starting at $5 per day at the Farmers Market and going up to more than $300 for the finals day VIP experience in Downtown Burbank. In all cases you must reserve the ticket online, free or paid.

1. The Normal Farmers Market

June 18-21 · $5 per day or $17 for all four days

Group stage with key matches: USA vs Australia and Mexico vs South Korea. Family games area, beer backyard and the gastronomic offer of the more than 40 market stalls. Children under 3 years free from payment.

2. City of Downey

Group stage matches: Germany vs Ivory Coast and Tunisia vs Japan. Opening ceremony, soccer exhibition, artwork stroll, interactive booths, meal vendors and beer backyard.

3. Heart of the City: Los Angeles Union Residing

June 25 to 28 · Free with reservation

The most central headquarters on the calendar, anchored in Union Residing and LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes. Simultaneous transmission of matches with the closing of the group stage and the star match of the week in Los Angeles: USA vs Türkiye (June 25). DJ sets, meet & greets, interactive challenges and immersive experiences.

4. Hansen Dam Lake

July 2 to 5

Round of 32 and quarterfinals in pageant format on the shores of the lake. DJ sets, global gastronomy, beer gardens, live muralists and games with prizes.

Kick It in the Park: More than 100 free take a look at occasions in city parks

Mayor Karen Bass’s program brings the World Cup to neighborhoods, in partnership with council districts and the Department of Recreation and Parks. Mobile LED screens, PlayLA youth soccer clinics and community resource tables. No ticket, no registration. It is best to arrive early: the capacity is around 1,000 people per venue. Between two and four parks broadcast each match, rotating by district so that each council district hosts seven celebrations during the tournament.

The opening game, Mexico vs South Africa on June 11, is projected at Wilmington Recreation Center, Echo Park, Sheldon Arleta Park and the Coliseum itself. On June 12, USA vs Paraguay is seen at the Coliseum and at the Jackie Tatum Harvard Recreation Center, Stoner Recreation Center and The Autry Museum.

The official hospitality headquarters of the Government of Mexico during the World Cup. Free admission to all programming with RSVP; The only paid activities are the cooking classes at La Cocina de Gloria Molina. It is presented by the Consulate General of Mexico, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, Telemundo 52 and Jive Are living, and expects to receive more than 20,000 visitors. It broadcasts the three matches of the Mexican National Team on the big screen, puts on two Family Festivals, a salsa concert and a five-week artistic installation.

Permanent art installation

During the five weeks of the tournament, visitors can tour “Tejiendo Redes” by artist Betsabeé Romero: a sculptural goal woven with community participation that integrates representations of pre-Hispanic ball game players and contemporary soccer players. It is accompanied by “Painted Targets”, an exhibition of balls intervened by the artist Jazzamoart.

SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood, hosts eight games between June 12 and July 10. The United States’ debut as host nation is played here on June 12, one day after the tournament opens in Mexico City. During the World Cup, the venue operates under the name Los Angeles Stadium.

How to enter the stadium: tickets and prices

Official tickets are sold at fifa.com/tickets, in an open sales phase on a first-come, first-served basis, with an authorized resale market on the same site. The 2026 World Cup launches dynamic prices: rates rise and fall in real time according to demand, the phase and the confirmed teams.

SoFi Stadium is among the tournament’s most expensive venues, along with stadiums in New York and New Jersey. The United States National Team matches are the most popular in Los Angeles. As a reference to mid-2026:

  • USA vs Paraguay (June 12): from $560 in Category 4 to $2,735 in Category 1, and up to $4,105 in Front Category 1. It is the most expensive group stage ticket in the tournament.
  • All other pool games on SoFi (Iran vs New Zealand, Switzerland vs Bosnia, Belgium vs Iran): Lower rates than US games, but also in the hundreds of dollars.
  • Qualifiers (round of 32 and quarterfinals): above the group stage.

How to get to SoFi Stadium without a car

Metro and its regional partners operate direct and non-stop service to SoFi Stadium from 15 locations in Los Angeles and Orange County, on eight game days only. No transfers and no need for expensive parking.

Rate and operation

  • Fee: $1.75 each way, the standard Metro fare, with no World Cup surcharge. If you arrive by train or Metro bus, it includes a transfer free from payment.
  • Pay: Bring your bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Undercover agent, UnionPay) or a TAP card, physical or in Apple Pockets and the TAP app. There are World Edition TAP cards for sale.
  • Frequency: every 10 minutes, except Pierce School and Newport, which depart every 30.
  • Service start: between 3 hours 15 minutes and 4 hours 15 minutes before each match, depending on the boarding point. For USA vs Paraguay on June 12, the service starts one hour earlier than usual.
  • Descent: Lot S (Arbor Vitae/District Dr, 5-10 minutes walk from the stadium), Lot R (Intuit East Garage, 15-20 minutes), or Lot T (Manchester/Prairie, about 20 minutes), depending on the route.

Parking at the stadium is expensive and sells out before game day; pre-purchase is essential. Some Metro boarding points offer reserved parking via SpotHero, which in many cases includes the round trip for all passengers in the car. Metrolink operates special service with connection to Metro boarding points.

  • In Spanish: Telemundo broadcasts 92 of the 104 games on an open signal. Universo has the other 12. Peacock has them all streaming with a Top paid subscription. Telemundo 52 (KVEA) is the native Los Angeles channel in Spanish.
