Suspect in homicide and kidnapping in Los Angeles was seen before fleeing to Mexico

The suspect of committing the murder of a mother and kidnapping her 4-year-old daughter in Los Angeles was captured by surveillance cameras in a San Ysidro parking lot before fleeing to Mexico, according to the images released.

The photos seem to show to the suspect, Rubén Fregoso, 40, along with his daughter, Daleyza Fregosoas they leave a parking lot in San Ysidro shortly after 7:30 a.m. on May 24 moments before crossing the border into Mexico.

Rubén Fregoso is suspected of killing Daleza’s mother, Marysol Garcíawho was found dead in her home in the 2600 block of South Alsace Avenue, in the West Adams neighborhood.

Daleza’s mother She was found dead at approximately 12:30 pm on May 25. when Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the home to conduct a welfare check.

“Upon arrival, officers found an adult female deceased inside the residence. The preliminary investigation indicates that The victim died as a result of an act of violence“The LAPD reported.

For the Los Angeles Police, Rubén Fregoso, husband of Marysol García, He is a person of interest in the homicide investigation.

After García’s body was discovered, The California Highway Patrol (CHP) issued an Amber Alert for Marysol’s daughterinitially identified as Daleza Fregoso. Authorities later corrected the girl’s name to Daleyza.

Shortly before 10:30 pm on Monday, the CHP reported in a statement that the SUV, in which Rubén Fregoso, accompanied by Daleyza, allegedly escaped, was located near the border with Mexico.

The investigators learned that Rubén Fregoso had made statements in which he mentioned his intention to travel to the neighboring country.

Until this Thursday morning, The authorities have not confirmed that Daleyza is the biological daughter of Rubén Fregosoeven though they both share the same last name.

Rubén Fregoso was described as a 40-year-old manwith a height of 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 meters) and a weight of approximately 200 pounds (90 kilograms). He has black hair and brown eyes.

Daleyza Fregoso, 4 years old, is 3 feet (90 cm) tall. and an approximate weight of forty five pounds (20 kilograms). He has black hair and brown eyes.

Family and friends of Marysol García They gathered this Wednesday night to hold a vigil in memory of Daleyza’s mother in front of the home where she was found dead, in West Adams.

The neighbors mentioned that Daleyza is a cheerful girl, so they want her to return safely to the neighborhood.
