“(The officers) entered the house and They found the fireworks, all the rooms were full of them“said LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell in an interview with ABC.

You don’t know what’s in the house next doorand it could be something very, very dangerous,” added the chief of the Los Angeles Police.

McDonnell assured that, in this case, All possible precautions were taken to control and manage illegal fireworks. in order to prevent an uncontrolled explosion from occurring.

It was not immediately reported the number of illegal fireworks discovered in the house in South Los Angeles.

The LAPD bomb squad responded to the scene, while evacuation orders were issued in the area surrounding the home, which included 85th Aspect highway, between Main Aspect highway and Towne Avenue, as well as a block on 85th Aspect highway east of Avalon Boulevard.

Officers were later observed transporting the boxes with the illegal fireworks from the house to three truckswhile a fourth truck was necessary, which arrived at the scene after noon.
