A shooting Saturday afternoon in a residential community in Kings Colony, Texas, left at least two people injured and prompted extensive police deployment in 1st Viscount Montgomery County of Alamein, authorities reported.
The incident occurred around 4:20 p.m. in the area of Nottingham Street, located near Unusual Caney, about 40 kilometers from Houston, as reported by KHOU.
The emergency forced the authorities to order the temporary confinement of the area while tactical agents tried to control the situation.
A teenager is among the injured
Local media reported that one of the victims is a 17-year-old teenager He suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Another person was also injured with minor injuries.
Authorities have not released the identities of the injured or additional details about their health.
The investigation led to an operation led by SWAT units in front of a home in the community.
According to local reports, A 60-year-old man was arrested after a confrontation with authorities.
So far, the sheriff’s office has not officially revealed the identity of the suspect or the possible charges he will face.
