The sound of firearms exploding near the White House forced Secret Service personnel to launch an operation to protect the security of the building. where the president of the nation and the people who were inside stayed.
The agency announced that it is investigating a series of reports of shots fired allegedly occurring on the corner of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest.
According to the testimony of some reporters who were on the North Lawn, they were asked to immediately move to the White House press room where they had to remain crouched.

Meanwhile, some members of the Secret Service carried rifles toward the aforementioned garden.
