The Colombian Shakira and the Nigerian Burna Boy surprised their followers with the premiere of the video clip of their collaboration “Dai Dai”, song that was chosen as the official anthem of the 2026 World Cup.
The video stands out for the energy of the song and the list of special guests. Among the football stars that appear in the images are names like Lionel Messi, Harry Kane, Kylian MbappéRodrigo Hernández (Rodri), Vinicius JuniorTakefusa Kubo, Santiago Giménez, Erling Haaland, Luis Díaz, Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala and Christian Pulisic.
But the display of figures does not end there. The video clip also includes the participation of Ghetto Children Ugandaa non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming the lives of orphaned, homeless or vulnerable children through music, dance and theater.
The NGO provides them with education, shelter, medical care, food and, above all, hope for a better future, keeping them away from the difficulties of life on the streets.
Shakira in Mexico
One of the most shocking moments of the video occurs when Shakira appears atop the Angel of Independence, located on the emblematic Avenida Reforma in Mexico City.
this scene works as a visual tribute to Mexicoa country that has played a major role in the artist’s career. The video clip had special support from the capital’s tourist campaign “Mexico City Corazón Grande.”
It is worth remembering that, in addition to this launch, Shakira was confirmed as one of the main artists of the halftime show at the end of the World Cupwhich will take place on Sunday, July 19.
The Colombian will share the stage with Madonna and BTSin what will be the first time that the World Cup has a half-time display. The 2026 World Cup, which will be organized by the United States, Mexico and Canada, will begin on June 11.
