Simeone praises Obed Vargas: “He is a dedicated boy who really wants to grow”

Obed Vargas continues to gain space within the Atlético de Madrid. The Mexican international midfielder received public support this Saturday from Diego Simeonewho highlighted the attitude and disposition of the footballer during his first months in the Spanish club.

At the press conference prior to the commitment against the Villarreal by LaLigathe Argentine coach spoke about the adaptation process of the young midfielder, who aims to start the match according to the latest tests carried out by the coaching staff.

Simeone highlighted the difficulties that players who come to Spanish football from other leagues usually face, especially those who come from competitions other than the European environment. A young talent who made the leap from the MLS

Obed Vargas arrived at Atlético de Madrid after standing out in the Seattle Sounders of the MLS, tournament in which he was considered one of the most important young promises of North American soccer. Born in Alaska and with Mexican-American nationality, the midfielder decided to represent the Mexican team internationally before starting his time in Europe.
